Services
Our services include full time programs for toddlers through VPK (Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten).
Each care program has an age appropriate curriculum and qualified teachers. Children may also be placed based upon their developmental level.
Children have the opportunity to build, create and explore with learning materials in our home-like classrooms and large, shaded outdoor play area. Our classrooms are set up to allow children to explore their surroundings by using all of their senses, actively experiencing how things work, and providing an opportunity to express ideas and solve problems independently.
Our state-of-the-art center meets or exceeds the guidelines set by APPLE (the accredited Professional Preschool Learning Environment) and received Gold Seal accreditation on October 19, 2007

As toddlers master the art of language and mobility, they develop new ways to express their needs. We encourage the children towards this growth by helping them to solve problems, make choices and practice self-help skills. We instill in our children independence and self-reliance. Health, safety and hygiene are given the highest priority. All toddlers and staff members practice positive health and food safety habits to ensure the health and safety of everyone.
24 months +
Young children learn best through active exploration of their environment and interaction with other children and adults. Our early learning center promotes a stimulating, challenging learning environment. We facilitate dramatic play activites as well as structured play to promote in our children well-rounded individuality. Healthy, safety and hygiene is most important to us. We are sure to incorporate numbers and the alphabet in the context of the child's everyday experience at Liberty Academy to prepare them for the educational classroom.
About Our Facility
Liberty Academy is a state-of-the-art, new facility specifically designed to meet the educational needs of young children. Our furnishings are cheerful and there are learning centers in each classroom.
We have a security system that provides 24-hour video monitoring of the classrooms, outdoor playrgounds and the parking area. There are three separate, heavily shaded playgrounds in order to ensure that the younger children can play safely and in comfort during the hot summer months.
About Our Staff
Our Staff are all trained and experienced in working with young children. We understand that in order to successfully work with children, teachers must have a caring personality as well as the skills required to educate the child.
The Liberty Staff all wear tasteful uniforms and have successfully passed the appropriate background checks to ensure the safety of your child. We select highly qualified teachers to maintain our high standards of quality care and education.
The Director or Assistant Director is available at all times to address any questions or concerns you may have. All teachers work together as a team to ensure your child's stability and security. At Liberty Academy--we love children--and it shows!

With our highly qualified, nurturing and caring staff as well as our delicious, yet healthy, meals, we provide a safe 'home away from home' for your growing child.
Our Philosophy
At Liberty Academy, our philosophy centers around the needs of each child. By taking the learning to learn approach, we cater to the needs of each individual child.
It is imperative to us that your child develops a positive self-concept and begins to develop the cognitive, social, emotional and physical skills necessary for success in the educational environment.
While academics are the basis for most activites, we provide children with a strong foundation and opportunity for socialization among their peers and adults.
Our daily circle times encourage group and individual participation for every child. Liberty Academy believes learning happens through play as well as structured, hands-on experiences.
PARENTS
Liberty Academy Daycare and Pre-School has developed policies to support its mission and goals, and to promote safety and an effective learning environment.
First Day of School
On the first day of school, your child must bring the enrollment packet, physical form #3040 (within 30 days), Immunization Form #680 (current and within 30 days), Emergency medical Authorization form, Authorization for Medication Form (as necessary for Physician prescriptions only), 1 current picture, change of clothing (labeled with child's name), naptime blanket/toy, for non-potty trained toddlers, sufficient diapers/wipes/pacifiers/bibs. We are not responsible for jewelry or personal toys brought to the center.
Arrivals and Departures
We have a computerized system to log your child's arrivals and departures. Authorized adults are provided with a unique password to access the system. Children must be logged in prior to being taken to their classroom. Children must be left with their assigned teacher. Our hours are Mon- Fr 7a-6p. There will be a charge of $1 for every minute that a parent is late to pick up a child. After 30 minutes, if there is no contact made to the center, then we wil notify HRS.
Illness
Children that display symptoms of contagious diseases or other illnesses should not be brought in for care, and will not be accepted when symptoms are present. In the event that a child becomes ill during the day, the parent/guardian will be contacted immediately. Children who become ill must be picked up within 90 minutes of being notified. Children must be symptom free for 24 hours prior to returning to the center.
Meals & Snacks
Breakfast is served between 7:30 am and 8:30 am. Lunch is served between 10:45 am and 12:15 pm. Snack is served at 3 pm. We offer delicious, healthy meals that will keep your child full and energetic while at the center.
Special Events
We provide field trips throughout the year here at Liberty Academy. Children must wear a Liberty Academy t-shirt or polo shirt to field trips and outings. T-Shirts may be purchased for $8.50 and Polo Shirts for $10 at the center. A permission slip is also required. Details about upcoming trips will be provided by your child's teacher. We also help celebrate birthdays. We need one week's notice to prepare for the celebration. Fees are charged on a case-by-case basis.
Weather Emergencies
In the event of weather emergencies, parents should call the center at 305-696-8100. For emergencies that occur during the school year, Liberty Academy will follow the Miami-Dade County School Board's recommendation concerning the closing of schools in the county.
Rates and Registration
We accept year-round registration based on availability. If we don't have space you will be placed on our watiing list. A $100 non-refundable registration fee is required at the time of enrollment. There is also a yearly fee of $50 due in March of every year. Feel free to contact us about our competitive rates.
